To Share is To Love

To Share is To Love

A hybrid refresher, made for sharing.

Ria brings a background in viticulture and organic farming, while her husband Mike brings a wealth of experience in winemaking. Having previously worked in California, Italy, France and New Zealand, Ria and Mike are eager to pour their knowledge into new soil.

Ria's Wines is dedicated to cool-climate farming and crafting wines that reflect the Finger Lakes’ rich agricultural legacy. Some of the vines on their property are over forty years old. Tucked just about a thousand feet from the southeastern shore of Seneca Lake, the largest and deepest of the Finger Lakes, the vineyard thrives in glacially tilled soils formed atop an ancient shale bed. The vines grow on a gentle slope in the northern part of the region, often referred to as the ‘banana belt’ for its favorable climate— providing a longer growing season than other parts of the region have to offer.

To share is to love...

The region thrives on camaraderie and collaboration, and it was in that vein that Mike suggested creating an exclusive wine label together with us at Kindred Fare and Collective.

A fun fact about this particular label, our Bar Manager at Kindred Fare, Raleigh Strott, designed it. Raleigh is a winemaker here in the Finger Lakes alongside their role with us at KF and helped harvest and bottle both vintages of this wine. They used real bird seed when creating it to capture the texture the letters are displayed in, and the birds are a play on the Kindred Fare logo that features the bird perching on the shoulder of the American Buffalo. This logo represents abundance, hospitality and peaceful connection with the Earth.

As one of our Kindred Fare mottos is "to share is to love" Brian found it was only natural to call the wine "Shareable White."

The idea was to make something approachable (and delicious) that would be fun to share with all wine-drinkers alike. This blend features grapes that the FLX laid its foundation on in the early years - cold-hardy *hybrids (and they are not to be underestimated). This blend is sure to be a crowd pleaser - perfect for bringing to your next dinner party or sipping alone on your couch after a long day. It's juicy, refreshing & pairs well with a good time. And we also like it with some NYS Old Chatham Camembert cheese or as pictured above, a serene Adirondack Lake. Can you tell? The bottle was half finished before I decided to snag a photo!

This collaborative private label is only available for retail purchase at Collective Wine & Supply. We are celebrating the new vintage June 15-19, 2026 & are offering a sample of it all week along with steep discounts! Stop by to snag some!

Shareable White is also available everyday by the glass at Kindred Fare.

*Hybrid grapes are made by crossing European Vitis vinifera vines with American Vitis labrusca or Vitis riparia grapes. They were originally cultivated in response to phylloxera. After the pest destroyed most of the vineyards in Europe in the late 1800s, grape breeders experimented with new insect- and disease-resistant grapes that wouldn’t be as affected by the pest or other issues like rot, mildew or cold temperatures.
