There are so many reasons we love the Finger Lakes, and when Brian and I got the chance to be "out of office" this past Monday (a rare day off together when both the restaurant and shop were closed for the holiday) we took advantage of it.

Over the past decade or so, we’ve met with dozens of wine distributors, most of whom we end up thanking for their time and moving on to the next.

The wine played its role in moving the meal along, accompanying each dish and providing just a little extra laughter. With red cheeks, a full belly and a soul that has never felt warmer, I shared great company. We shared great stories. We shared great wine.
