Worthy Park Estate was founded in 1670 and is one of only 2 distilleries on the island that are fully Jamaican owned. The estate is about 10,000 acres in the center of the island, with about 40% of the land planted to sugar cane. It is also one of the last 3 100% pot still producers on the island. This rum spent 8 years in ex bourbon barrels before being transferred to Madeira casks where it spent 2 additional years. Molasses, earth, toasted nuts, dried fruit.
