The soft chalk slopes of the South Downs are perfectly suited for growing grapes to make traditional method sparkling wine, with a warming climate making them even more attractive. The same family has been on the Wiston estate since the mid 1700's, but it took a marriage to a South African to bring the idea of grapes. A classic traditional method sparkling wine, an almost equal parts blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, with classic toasted brioche, golden apple and bright lemon notes, it's a great Champagne substitute!
