Timo Mayer grew up in Germany before moving to Australia and setting up shop in 2000 in the cool Yarra Valley. He started making Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, but has branched out to other European varieties including Sangiovese. This wine has plenty of brambly fruit and freshness along with classic Sangiovese structure. Timo likes to do things his way, and this is one of them!
