After relocating to the Loire Valley from Bordeaux in the early 90's, Thierry Germain worked with Charly Foucault of Clos Rougeard, cementing his views of Biodynamics. This wine is from 2 lieux dits in Saumur with vines averaging 90 years old. It spends 12 months in large foudre on the fine lees before being bottled. Crisp,angular and refreshing, this wine has a lot to give, green melon, red apple, lemon zest and gunflint, drinking beautifully now, but will age for many years to come.
