Romain Taupenot is the 9th generation to run his family estate based in Morey-St-Denis. This is their Passetoutgrain, a traditional blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay, equal parts in this case. This Passetoutgrain is unique in that the Gamay is from a Grand Cru village, coming from Morey-St-Denis. It spends 12 months in barrel before bottling. Ripe red fruit, a dusting of allspice and explosive aromatics make this a special wine from a special producer.
