San Fereolo has long been our go to for delicious, true to place Dolcetto. Nicoletta Boca has run the estate since 1992 and she's completely dedicated to growing Dolcetto in it's ancestral home of Dogliani. The daughter of an outspoken Italian political Journalist, she's not one to bow to modern trends. 1593 refers to the first written mention of Dolcetto being grown in Dogliani. Having spent nearly 6 years in large barrel before being bottled and released a further 6 years later, this is a fully resolved wine with beautiful red fruit, soft texture and lots of dried flowers and herbs.
