Ria's wines was founded in 2022 by Ria D'Aversa and Mike Penn, a husband and wife team who came to us from wineries and vineyards in California. Ria manages the vineyards while Mike makes the wine at their winery on the east side of Seneca Lake. While they have recently planted Gamay at their vineyard, these grapes are sourced from the east side of Cayuga Lake. Black and blue fruit, subtle fresh herbs and dusty mineral with a little lift of the fruit.
