Hans Reisetbauer is known as one of, if not the best eau-de-vie producers in the world, crafting brandies from a variety of agricultural products. His son has joined the operation and together, they're making single malt whiskey from barley grown organically on their farm. The whiskey is aged for 12 years in used Chardonnay and Trockenbeerenauslese wine barrels. Pear, mushroom, rice crackers, soil, arugula, red cherry and dill are just some of the notes you'll find in this endlessly complex whiskey. Singular, not to be missed.
