Michel Quenard farms 22 hectares hugging the western Alps around the village of Chignin.  Among the varieties they cultivate is Mondeuse, a red at home in the mountains.  Bright blue fruit is complemented by a distinct stoniness and spice with a chiseled backbone of freshness.
