Moving from the Swiss Alps to Tuscany with a dream and a bank loan to plant grapes, the Davaz brothers found an island in the woods to stake their claim.  That was 40 years ago, and they have since quadrupled their vineyard area and a second generation has moved in to start taking the reins. This wine is an equal parts blend of their best Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a dense color, there is freshness to balance the dark fruit.
