Millbrook was started in 1979 by John and Kathe Dyson, both alums of Cornell's school of Agriculture. They have grown the winery into one of the best in the Hudson Valley and now also own Williams Selyem in Sonoma. This wine is a non-vintage blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Syrah that spends 14 months in barrel before being bottled. It has lots of blackberry, black plum, raspberry and cherry. The perfect wine for weeknight burgers or pizza.
