Leopold Brothers was started by Todd and Scott Leopold in Michigan and was moved to their home state of Colorado in the early 2000s to focus on distilling. They make a range of liqueurs and spirits, never using any additives, just natural ingredients. This is a blend of leftover barrels of MGP 6 year from a special edition bottling from Leopold Brothers that were blended with select Leopold Brothers High Barley Bourbons that were finished in a large Foeder before bottling. The result is rich and supple, with very little rye in the blend so there's not too much peppery character.
