Founded in 1984 by Matilde Poggi, Le Fraghe is tucked between Barolino and the shores of Lake Garda in the Veneto. Le Fraghe is local dialect for a wild strawberry that grows in the vineyards here. Garganega, most famous for being the base of the wines from Soave, is grown organically here and makes a wine with fresh lemon and lime balanced by great texture from spending time on the lees. A little trapped CO2 from fermentation adds an extra layer of refreshment!
