The Kuroki Honten Distillery has been making Shochu since 1885. They organically grow almost all of the ingredients they use themselves on their 20 hectare farm. This Shochu is made with 80% sweet potato and 20% black koji rice and has aromas of shiso, menthol, peppery black tea and sweet potato.
