Alwin and Stef Jurtschitsch took over the family winery in 2006 and immediately converted to organic viticulture. Regarded as one of the best estates in the Kamptal, they make classic wines of purity and place. Loiserberg is the highest and coolest vineyard site that Jurtschitsch works with at 400 meters above sea level. A cool, nightly breeze helps preserve fruit in the wine that is fermented and aged in large barrels made with oak sourced nearby the vineyard. Ripe tree and stone fruit, savory, rich but fresh. A complex wine.
