The Fischer family has been making wine on the southern side of the Danube river for centuries, officially establishing the winery in 1898. Now in the 5th generation, the family is able to use the northern exposure of their vineyards to their advantage as they are able to make fresh, bright wines while a lot of their neighbors with southern facing vineyards are facing over ripeness with the warming climate. The Frauenweingarten vineyard sits just 25 meters from the Danube and sloping up to a 48% incline. A wine of weight and transparency with deep yellow fruit and a mineral precision, this is a wine for a nice meal!
