Originally founded in 1887 in Kansas City, the distillery was restarted in 2014 by the great great great grandson of Jacob Rieger, the founder. With the help of bartenders and legendary distiller's they've brought back the spirit of the original distillery with a modern twist. A singular mash up of amaro and coffee liqueur, this is a twist on both, with bitter herbs and spices chosen to complement the flavor of the Sumatran coffee used to make it!
