The Grosjean family started growing grapes to make wine to sustain themselves through the winter while tending to their cattle heard. They now have 7 hectares of vines and make wine for more than just the family! Torrette is a small appellation in the central Aosta Valley where Petit Rouge, a grape local to the area, must make up 70% of red wines. The balance of this wine is a handful of other local grapes. Crunchy red raspberries, dried flowers and a structure with classic Italian Rusticity make this wine as charming as it's mountain home.
