Established by Francesco Vezzelli in 1958 when most Lambrusco was made by cooperatives, not estate bottled. Now run by Francesco's son, Roberto, with 16 hectares of vineyards near Modena. Using the Charmat method, the winery creates lively, expressive wines. Ripe cherry, strawberry, blackberry, purple flowers and a fine texture, this is a great food wine, but also a great aperitivo.
