Dorli Muhr started this project with her ex-husband, Dirk Niepoort in 2000 in her native Eastern Austria.  She started this to make the wines she wanted to drink and has succeeded in making wines everyone should drink. This is a blend of 2/3 Blaufrankisch and 1/3 Syrah, as allowed by the appellation rules. There is beautiful black cherry, black raspberry, and blue plum that is all framed by a certain element that reminds you the wine is alive.  It has to be tried to be understood, and trust us, it's worth it.
