Domaine Roulot has been based in Meursault since 1820. It was Guy Roulot, the father of the current winemaker, Jean-Marc Roulot that brought the estate to the level it is known for today. Jean-Marc has continued his father's legacy, making some of the most sought after Chardonnay in the world. This wine is mainly from Clos de la Barrone, east of Les Gouttes d'Or premier cru. Additionally, there are grapes from heavier clay soils in the south of the village. Generous, persistent and sappy, this can be enjoyed now, or for years to come.
