The Févre family can trace their roots in Chablis back to 1745.  Now in their fifth generation at this particular domaine, they have converted their 53 hectares to Organic and are working with certain biodynamic treatments.  This particular Chablis comes from their 2.2 hectare plot of Vaulorent, a vineyard that abuts the Grand Crus of Chablis with their vines being between 50 and 70 years old.  Tense and precise with body from ripe fruit and 20% new oak, this wine is exactly what a 1er Cru Chablis should be.
