Domaine Cornu-Camus is located in the village of Echeveronne in the Hautes Cotes of Burgundy, a part of the region that is often overlooked. Pierre Cornu started bottling wines from vines here in the 1970's, it was his wife who brought vines in Savigny-Les-Beaune in the Cote d'Or with her to the marriage. Their daughter Lydia has run the winery since 2007 and has expanded with more vines in both Hautes Cotes and the Cote d'Or proper. Their wines are precise and giving. Black cherry, red raspberry, fresh flowers and beautiful freshness all framed by pleasant spice from time in oak. A pure, affordable Burgundy that is becoming more and more of a rarity!
