Domaine Belargus started small, but has grown into an estate with an enviable collection of holdings in the top vineyards in Anjou. This is their 'village' level wine, from vines planted mostly to Schist. A big, rich wine that is held together by a backbone of great acidity and flinty mineral with plenty of beeswax, white flowers and ripe orchard fruit. A classic from an estate you will surely here a lot from in the next decade.
