Starting out as just grape growers, the Gross family made their first wine at what would become Cooper Mountain Vineyards in 1987. They were certified organic in 1995 and biodynamic in 1999. They planted 2.5 acres of Tocai at one of their warmer sites in 2004 and have made this bottling since. A cousin to Sauvignon Blanc, it has a rich body with peaches, mineral, citrus and some spice.
