Closiot is the Bordeaux property of Jean-Marie Guffens of famed Burgundy estate Guffens-Heynen. Making both dry and sweet wines at the property, due to high heat in 2023, only dry wines were made, including this one. Made up of 85% Semillon and 15% Sauvignon Gris, this is a classic example of the dry white wines of Barsac and Graves, more famous for their sweet wines. Aged in 25% new oak, it is nutty and toasty with ripe and dried apricot, orange peel and golden peach.
