Founded in 1955, Bois de Boursan is located entirely within the village of Chateauneuf-du-Pape. The domaine manages parcels with all 13 varieties allowed in CdP wines and farms them all organically. This wine is made up of 25% declassified CdP from the estate and the rest is from a vineyard purchased a few years ago, just north of Chateauneuf that has Grenache, Syrah and Merlot planted. This new vineyard is from a cooler site and the wine is aged in stainless steel. Great black and blue fruit with structure and a bit of rusticity. Incredible value.
