Barmés-Buecher is the result of the joining of two Alsatian estates that has become an under-the-radar gem of an estate in the village of Wettolsheim.  After the death of his father in 2011, Maxime Barmés returned to the family domaine from oenology school to help his mother with the winery and has since taken the property to new heights. From 40-year-old vines planted on rich marl-limestone, this Riesling is a powerhouse with plenty of years ahead of it. Perfumed, pure orchard fruit, apricot, white flowers and plenty of acidity and limestone minerality to support its full frame.
