Barmés-Buecher is the result of the joining of two Alsatian estates that has become an under-the-radar gem of an estate in the village of Wettolsheim.  After the death of his father in 2011, Maxime Barmés returned to the family domaine from oenology school to help his mother with the winery and has since taken the property to new heights. This wine is a blend of Pinot Gris, Auxerrois, Chardonnay and a little Pinot Blanc, all from the Rosenberg Vineyard. The wine finishes the initial fermentation in bottle with no added yeast or sugar.
