Bardos was founded by winemaker Raul Acha in the Ribera del Duero, planting vines on high altitude plateaus instead of the "Golden Mile" where most other wineries choose to set up. Bardos is in reference to ancient storytellers called Bards. Rueda, located in the western most part of the Ribera del Duero, is where this wine is from. Verdejo here has ripe orchard fruit and refreshing stoniness.
