From Slovenia’s lush Vipava Valley, Slavček Belo 2023 blends 40% Rebula (Ribolla Gialla), 40% Jakot (Friulano) and 20% Chardonnay from organically farmed vineyards. The grapes spend four days on their skins before aging in neutral oak, giving the wine a little extra texture and character. Bright orange and white plum meet a touch of flint and white pepper, with lively acidity keeping everything fresh. Expressive, textured and just a little wild, it’s a fun introduction to the wines of Slovenia.
