A lost Scotch brought back to life. Independent bottler A. D. Rattray recreated Stronachie after acquiring one of just four known bottles from the original, long-closed distillery, dating back to 1904. Today, they use single malt from Benrinnes Distillery, aged for at least 10 years in ex-bourbon casks, to capture that old-school Highland style. Soft honey, heather and malty sweetness give way to biscuits, pepper and cereal notes for a smooth, inviting dram. A little piece of Scotch history that’s meant to be poured.
