Darroze buys and ages barrels from small producers of Armagnac, releasing them only when they are ready to drink. This particular Armagnac is from the 1990 vintage and is 100% Baco Noir planted on sand in Bas-Armagnac. The grower here worked on oil rigs and tended this vineyard on the side. Fiery and big, but with delicate spice.
