For over 100 years, the Landeros family has been growing Agave as Campesinos. The namesake of their brand Tio Atanasio started distilling for the family around 1920 and in 2011, the family took that distilling tradition and started this label. This Anejo is aged for 13 months in medium char ex-Bourbon Barrels and the result is flavors of melted butter, peppercorn roasted yams, baking spice and stewed berries. Meant to be sipped and pondered.
