A spanish Apero, based on old vine Viura from the Basque portion of northern Rioja. The wine is macerated with a mix of local bitter herbs such as chinchona bark, gentian root, elderberry, rhubarb, citrus peels and botanicals.  Blood orange, bitter citrus and melon, orange and grapefruit, herbal and spice. Use this instead of Aperol in your next spritz, you won't be disappointed!
