Notes on this wine from the winemaker himself, Mike Penn!

Field blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet franc, and blaufrankish, which means they were all picked on the same day and put into the press together…just like the shareable white. No herbicides or insecticides used, hand harvested. 

12 hour whole cluster (with stems) gentle press cycle to extract color. Native fermentation in stainless tank at a cool 60F. 

Aged in stainless steel barrels with the fine lees for 8 months. Filtered and hand bottled in early May.

5 g/l residual sugar (almost dry), 3.2 pH (well balanced acidity), and as delicious as can be. Cheers!
