Borachio, a reference to a wine-loving Shakespearean villain, is a ten year old wine project from a husband and wife team. They've dedicated themselves to making additive free wine, and have done so quite successfully. Buying grapes from all over South Australia, they've taken to using a vast number of varieties to make their colorfully labeled wines. This is a 50/50 blend of Grenache and Syrah, fermented partially, bottled and from there what you see is what you get. Unsulfured, this wine is bright and funky, with strawberries, charred herbs and a round palate.
