In the highest and most remote part of Jumilla in Eastern Spain, Juan and Carlos Cerdan have taken up the family business of making wine. Growing a number of varieties in their ancestral hills, Monastrell is right at home here where the brothers have figured out how to make it without it being overly concentrated and big. This wine has a balance of ripe black and blue fruit, spice, peppercorn and plum skin with pretty tannin and fresh acidity.
