The Bea family has been in the hills of Montefalco, Umbria since at least the 1500's. Now run by Paolo's son, Giampiero, the estate is focused on farming and winemaking using as little intervention as possible while making incredibly expressive wines. This is a blend of Sagrantino and the white grape, Trebbiano. Bea's wine that is most approachable young, it is on the lighter side with lots of bright cherry and red flowers.
