John Monnier is the assistant winemaker at Ravines, where he also makes wine for his own label, John Albert. The grapes for this wine were sourced from the Lahoma Vineyard on the southwest side of Seneca Lake. Fermented and aged in stainless steel, this wine shows a pure expression of Chardonnay without the mask of oak. Fresh yellow apple, pear, slight tropical notes and refreshing acidity.
