Chateau la Rame is a historic estate in their corner of Bordeaux. Located about 40 km southeast of the city, in the small appellation of Sainte Croix du Mont. Their mission is to bring the small appellation back to it's former glory. With plantings on limestone and making both reds and whites, their wines have an elegance as a result. This wine is a blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and is not short on flavor and structure.  A steal at $20, so stock up!
